Usb Mouse
I cannot use my mouse. My logitech usb mouse is not detected in my computer/mouse/hardware.?
I have an HID in my computer/system/device mngr. I have removed and re-installed, and updated all drivers, usb & hid, still no luck. This mouse works on other computers, other items work in all usb ports. Same problem with a different mouse. New pc to me, I have seen it and used it previously. I see that all previous files have been removed and looks VERY empty now. Any suggestions?
have you tried your muse in all usb ports, all you mention is other items? When installing plug n play items, from my experience, the drivers are installed first before the device is plugged in, sometimes followed by a restart, pending on instructions. I hope this is the way you install? Once the drivers are installed, and the PC is restarted, then plug in you mouse and let the computer find it. if your running Vista, this normally has a library of generic drivers, if you can’t find on it will try and find on that works, uncompatibilty is the only thing I can think of, but have my doubts?
