Converter Keyboard
Can a vintage CASIO SA-20 Keyboard be plugged into a computer using a USB to MIDI Keyboard Interface Converter?
I have found this really lovely vintage Keyboard whilst having a clear out. It has some great sounds that I’d like to sample. This keyboard is really old so it doesn’t have MIDI. However, i’ve seen some MIDI/USB converters on Ebay. Would this work? The keyboard has too small output??
Thanks!!
If there are no MIDI connectors on the keyboard (only audio jacks), then a USB to MIDI adapter won’t do you any good.
Sorry.
You’ll have to connect the line-output from the keyboard to your line-input on your audio card or computer line-in jack (with the proper cables and adapters). Then you can record the audio onto your computer.
