My camera needs Fuji FinePix S2 Pro Compact Flash interface changing, can anyone help?
In the end two pins of the compact flash interface camera inside my S2 Pro has leaned on the provision of the camera useless, to my horror. Do any of you know if this can be fixed and how much take time, and if anywhere in Buenos Aires, Argentina could do this for me? Many thans!
It will be very difficult to correct these pins without opening the chamber. You may be able to catch one at a time with a pair of thin-tipped tongs and put them right back. ATTENTION! You only have a opportunity to set yourself! These pins are fragile and will break if it bends 2-3 times. It has folded once (the way it is now), so you get a chance more to pull them up straight. If you succeed, I suggest you carefully place in a large capacity CF card and leave it forever more! Use the USB cable to extract images from the memory card instead of physically removing the CF card. If you can not fix the pins, then a Fuji repair center can take this, but the service charge will cost 60-70% of the total cost of a new camera!
