Acer Laptop Charger Problem?!HELP ME PLEASE!?
Okay so my acer charger is not working properly the light on the charger turns green but it just doesnt charge.My laptops was dead for like a month and then my brother tried it and it worked and when i would get on it i would have to fiddle with the charger to the right spot for it 2 charge.But now its dead again and i tried fiddling with it and still nothing…it turns on for like 3 sec then dies…SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!I would reaaallly appreciate it!
There are two possible things that can be wrong with your laptop.
Possible Problem I:
It could be the power socket is loose (power socket as in where the charger plugs into the laptop). It may be that it is loose and you have to fiddle the charger to get it connect to the motherboard correctly. To have this problem fix, you will need to go to a repair shop and have them resolder the socket back into a good place – it will cost about $100.
Possible Problem II:
It could also be the wiring inside your charger is defective. This is why you will need to fiddle the charger to complete the wiring inside to get it working. To have this fix, you will need to buy a new charger online.

How to detect the problem:
It is hard to exactly pinpoint which of the above two is the problem. The easier solution is to borrow a friend’s charger and see if it works. If it does, then the problem is the charger. If it doesn’t, then the problem is the power socket.
