How can I get video signal from VGA to component cable?
I want to connect my lap, Compaq Presario CQ60 202US, to a Panasonic HiPower System Tau tv. I pluged a VGA cable in the computer with component RGB in the other extreme. The problem is I can’t get signal on tv. I just see a poor image, but not video. Can somebody explain to me how to do it?

VGA to RGB cables work ONLY if your video card can output YPbPr (Component) over VGA – rare but possible. If that’s not the case, you need a color converter.
